DESCRIPTION:

The project focuses on the helping relationship addressed to young refugees, migrants and young people living in disadvantaged situations, due to unfavourable contexts.

The main objective is to start up a process of personal growth through sharing a collective experience.

The subject is helping relationship, social inclusion, active citizenship, solidarity and ability to collaborate with and beyond the differences.

The idea is to experiment how a new born Community organizes itself, grows, works, shares rules, needs, objectives and paths. Participants have to self-manage the place and some of the activities, allowing each participant to express his/her known talent and allowing to find out new ones.

The activities will be based on active methodologies using an innovative approach, combining different non-formal education tools: theatre (theatre of the oppressed), manual and creative workshops, songwriting workshop, to discover and rediscover personal resources.

All these activities are interactive tools that stimulate the active involvement of participants. In the course of the project the exchange of knowledge and technical tools will be constantly monitored through specific sessions on rating systems before and after.

A brief list of the experiences:

• meeting between leaders group and the trainers: mutual discovery
• processing of non-violent methods of conflict management and sharing of work methods usually used in their local context;
• workshops of general introduction to theatrical techniques;
• manual workshops
• video/photo workshops
• song writing workshops
• cooking workshops
• the realization of a final performance as a last tool
